Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

We are learning how to reduce, reuse and recyle. Yesterday we collected and sorted rubbish into four different piles. We called them reduce, reuse, recycle and compost.

"I noticed that all the plastic bags were in the re-use pile because we can use them again and again and again",  said Amelia.

"I noticed that there were a lot of chip packets in the reduce pile and some in recycle. People are leaving chip packets in the bushes instead of putting them in the bins", said Andre.

"I noticed that there were lots of newspaper in the compost pile. People need to put them in the recycle bins in the classrooms", said Dannielle.
